5 Reviews of the Voyager 4
By: Whitewater72 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2013 Rating:
I bought this tent mainly for me and my wife. The tent can be put up by myself and is easy to erect. There is plenty of room both in the bedroom and living area. It was draught free and after a day of torrential rain it didn't let in any water. The campsite was sheltered from the gales so I can't say how well it will stand up to wind, but it seems very sturdy. The minus points of this tent are that it does suffer from condensation even with all vents completely open. The doors where awkward to close from the inside and only had one bit of velcro on the bottom of the door. All in all I would recommend this tent.

Purchased this as at 6 feet 5 I wanted a tent I could stand up in. There is a lot of window space and the great bit is you can put the porch canopy up leave the mesh screen up and you have a massive front window. Which does stop a lot of the draft.
Tested the new tent at Merthyr farm, we had 3 seasons In one weekend and the tent coped very well. 30 mph winds, heavy rain and the. Glorious sunshine! Had no condensation and the fully sewn in groundsheet keeps you nicely encased!
Plenty of guy ropes to hold it in place and good storage inside. Very impressed with how it coped.

This is our first family tent, 2 adults and 2 7yr olds. Perfect size for us, any bigger would have taken up too much boot space. 20mins to erect. Good number of windows and vents. Sleeping space adequate for 4 of us. Living space took all our junk plus 4 of us sitting round a table for a wet weather dinner (albeit tight!). Used in very wet weather and very warm weather with no issues. Not used in windy weather. Also bought carpet which gives a cosiness underfoot and also protects the ground sheet from chair legs, etc. So far so good - very pleased with this tent, and at the price I don't think you could do much better.

The Voyager 4 is our first family Tent, and as such is an ideal choice for us. It is big enough to stretch out and dip our toes into the world of camping. So the good points are that it is easy and quick to pitch maybe 40 mins max, it seems well constructed (Not yet been in the rain)but other reviews suggest the tent is watertight with the exception of slight water ingress when the door is opened in the rain. Once erected the tent is very sturdy, which is probably due to the dome construction of the living area and has enough height to stand upright inside. The Negative is that this is good as a starter tent, for families with smaller children, I would not however recommend for 4 adults.

Great tent that I can put up single handed with 3 kids on my ankles.
Warm inside; light windows but snug and dark in the evenings; lots of storage space
Handy zip hole for electric cable
Space to sleep 5 if you all squish in a bit, as the divider in the middle rolls up to the roof and you can have one big sleeping area
Sewn-in ground sheet works really well, we also bought the under sheet to protect the main tent base, much easier to clean and tidy away - though the pegs for this were rubbish and bent first try, so we just laid tent on top and held it down with body weight!
